Division Chief Job Opening with NIC's Community Corrections Division

The National Institute of Corrections has announced a job opening for a Chief of the Community Corrections Division at NIC's Central Office in Washington D.C.  The Chief is responsible for the management and supervision of the division which includes program planning and policy development, cooperative agreement and contract administration, personnel and fiscal management, operations and program evaluation, and professional contacts with national state and local agencies and organizations and contacts with the media and the public.

The Chief directs the work of division staff in the provision of technical assistance, specialized training and other services to state and local governments responsible for or involved in administration and operation of local community programming.  The Chief also manages the transition and offender workforce development initiative responsible for the development, coordination, collaboration and delivery of all programs and initiatives that support and advance services for the successful transition of offenders into the community and work force.
