Hello, I’d like to introduce myself, my name is Keith Gilabert, I’m an economic analysis for public policy and I am writing a report on the Economic Impacts of Prison Growth.  I think it is important to support the Bureau of Prisons and make sure the funding stays in place.

I would really appreciate any feedback you can send me on the community benefits that occur with prisons.   Such as stability of the local economy and the stimulus the local economy receives.

 Lastly, I would like to thank the Corrections Community for doing such a great job for our society!

Communities are realizing a number of advantages from having a prison located in or near their community, particularly in the area of sustainability.  From serviing as centers for community recycling efforts, to water management and sewer treatment.  Learn more at or contact me off list at
