FTO Program - Sokolove Model

Greetings all,

I was wondering if any Institutions reading this are using the "Sokolove Model" of Field Training for new Correctional Staff.  My facility is currently switching from the "San Jose Model" and I'm trying to touch base with those currently using the Sokolove Model to share information.

Sgt.  I just recently attended a Field Training Supervisor course conducted by David Locke, the business partner of Bruce Sokolove.  This is a program that our agency is thinking of going to. This model does get away from the number scale on the DOR's and it has combined the categories with greater emphasis on Self-Initiated Field Activity.
