Does anyone currently use any established assessment toolsin order to determine T4C group members? We are looking to implement this progarm in our Municipal Court and are beginning the member selection process- just looking for suggestions- not wanting to reinvent the wheel if an effective assessment tool already exists. Thanks for any suggestions.

We use the offender's ORAS score. If they score high or very high, they are are targeted for T4C. Moderate scores are judged by a case by case review of recent behaviors. Your offenders may not have an ORAS score until they hit the state system. You might contact the University of Cincinatti for guidance.
