May 16-17, 2017 NIC Academy Division, Learning and Performance Initiative will be launching the Training Administrators Network (TAN). We are very excited to bring back this Network with several tasks on the agenda that will include a new name, a new charter, and new members.

The Network will be by invitation only so we need your help:

  1. Identify any new State Prison Training Directors and/or new contact info. (We have a list but may be outdated.)
  2. Identify at least one Training Director/Administrator for TAN membership in your state from jails and community (parole, probation, community corrections). The TAN Manager was tasked with expanding the Network to include prisons, jails, and community.

Criteria for membership in Training Administrators Network: A. Primary area of responsibility is training corrections staff. B. Responsible for shaping agency training policy.

Forward any names and contact information to Bernie Iszler, TAN Manager, biszler@bop.gov.
