New E-Course: Communicating Effectively and Professionally with LGBTI Offenders

The National Institute of Corrections is now offering a one hour e-course focused on strategies for communicating respectfully with all offenders, with a specific focus on lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) offenders.   Communicating Effectively and Professionally with LGBTI Offenders is available through the NIC Learning Center and is appropriate for corrections professionals working with adults in jails, prisons, and community correction.
