PRISON RAPE ELIMINATION ACT OF 2003

The Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003 was introduced in the House of Representations on April 9, 2003 by Representative Frank R. Wolf (R-VA).  The Act passed the Senate on July 21, 2003 by unanimous consent and the House of Representatives on July 25, 2003 without objection.  The bill was signed into law by President George W. Bush on September 4, 2003.
